  Just got back from this Rent-A-Center and oh boy was it a pure unprofessional environment. Long story short my mother has been renting a dryer from these guys for about 6 months. As I'm driving her back to work she receives a courtesy call from Brandon for payment. He got so mouthy even though the bill just became due today which she was already intending on paying. My mother had to put him on speaker just so I could hear the way this guy was talking acting like she was 2 years old. Business day isn't even over, and she always pays on time. She is never late on payments, pays consistently, and even has been contemplating replacing her furniture here. To have a grown man calling my mother "unreliable" and he knows the KISD pay schedule because his mother works there so how dare her pull fast one?! Good if your mother worked at KISD maybe she could teach you some manners since it sounds like a much needed adult education is required. So I go in there clearly mad, but act like I didn't hear the conversation other than from her. I think the guy was named Randy or something like that who talked to me and completely took up for Brandon despite not even hearing what was said. "Brandon is a great guy! He wouldn't say that." then riddle me this Rambo: Where you there at the time of said conversation? No? Then why are you even making a defense for a situation you didn't witness. I finally asked Is there a manger here? No there isn't. Even though Renee is standing right there like a deer in headlights. Once again questioning me like I don't know who works here. I was here when you made my mom feel nice and cozy to rip her on an overpriced POS but hey there was Brandon with the fake charm. Needless to say I couldn't talk her out of the predatory sales, but at least the delivery was on time thank god there is your 2 stars worth Rent-A-Center. She has paid thus far and doesn't want to lose her progress and I get that. Brandon and Randy if that is your real name and that isn't just a BS lie too.. Don't question the intelligence of people who are in your store. I know people will be tempted to buy here due to predatory sales and "it looks good at the moment for my financial needs", but please if your love ones go in here make sure you take everyone's name and position and look over their contract and don't hesitate to call out BS hidden within the contract lingo. Also know if you do sign with these guys you can be the best payer in the world, but expect "Brandon" to be on your phone with you on the due date with shotgun in hand demanding payment like you're a confused child needing assistance with everything. Do yourselves a favor this tax season and buy outright.. Stupid corporate companies like this and their employees thrive on your dollars. Don't let them make you feel like your required to shut up and bend over for them at a moment's notice. God Bless.
