  The worst experience ever! My husband took diamonds of mine and custom made a ring for me at this store. He spent quality time with a woman, one on one, making sure it was going to be a secure seated diamond set. The lady told him the best way to go on setting the diamonds, and he went with it. It is a very simple band with 8 diamonds set all around. First, the lady who helped my husband design my ring, told me to go up half a size for the band because my fingers will swell. I've worn 4.5 my entire life, big or small. I explained that to her and she rebuttled me with how I needed to go up in size. So I did. BIG mistake. I went back and told them it was too big, they took it in after telling me I was wrong about the lady telling me that I needed to go up in size. So I was wrong for this? She finally took it in and said they would fix it. When I came back to pick it up on the due date, on the receipt, it wasn't done. (No big deal) came back a few days later, and they wanted to charge me for fixing it at first...seriously? Took it and got home, looked at it and you could see the weld marks. Ugh! I doesn't have the time to go back because I was in the process of moving. To add to this, one of the diamonds fell out. My husband brought our own diamonds and paid about $800. We just lost our daughter and each had custom rings made for our wedding date. This was suppose to be beyond special. Instead this is the worst experience I've ever had. I'm truly sad about this whole ordeal and how I was treated AND the diamond falling out after my husband was told this was the most secure settings.

  I recently got married and had a variety of challenges. There was a family ring that would become my wife’s engagement ring and it needed to be repaired, cleaned and resized and another family ring that would become my wedding band that needed to be cleaned and engraved. Additionally, I needed to purchase a new wedding band for my wife. Pagel and Sons took care of all of these needs. Their patience and service were wonderful and the prices were extremely fair. My wife and I were both very happy with everything. Oh, and for good measure my Mom’s watch needed to be repaired and resized and they were able to do it all at a very fair price. For service, value and quality you can’t go wrong with Pagel and Sons. I hope you have as wonderful an experience as we did.

  Went to another jewelry store and my ring could not be sized because it was Tiffany. At least that is what he told me ,until I went to Pagel. So happy with my ring and I didn't have to go to Austin to Tiffany. Prices are fair. Also having a necklace made. Picked up my pendant today and I am thrilled. Beautiful job. Thank you so much.
